1. SMTP Serve ( Simple Mail Transfer Protocol Server): A computer used to send e-mail across a network or the internet.
2. POP ( Post Office Protocol): is used to retrieve e-mail messages from an e-mail server.
3. IMAP (Internet Messaging Access Protocol): A protocol similar to POP that is used to retrieve email message from an email server, but offers additional features, such as choosing which e-mails to download from the server.
4. MIME (Multi-purpose Internet Mail Extension): A conversion process used for formatting non-ASCII message so that they can be sent over the Internet.
5. Netiquette: Internet etiquette or set of guidelines for posting messages and e-mails in a civil, concise way.
